I've got a Magellan 320 handheld GPS that's about 5 years old. The screen is fading and becoming more difficult to read.
Even with new batteries the display lacks contrast. Have any of you experienced similar fading and is there a cure?

Mantsbrite in Malden, Essex are the people to speak to as the main agents for Magellan or better still Comar Services, Isle of Wight who handle the servicing and repairs, very good people to deal with.

Try talking to the agents. I had a similar problem with a small Garmin and was advised that the internal memory battery was probably low and to keep the GPS on charge for four hours; I did this and it sorted the problem out.
