Nostalgia.......Danboline grey

One of the joys of wooden boats was giving the bilges a coat of Danboline grey,wonderful paint that covered a multitude of sins,Ahh!

I still use it. Works on plastic too.

In the words of Paul at Boatpaint, 'it's just very good paint'. The white is as good as the grey at covering a horrific back story patina.

D@mn stuff was used on my first boat (plastic hull) by a previous owner and it kept slowly flaking off. It may be ok on wood, but flowcoat any day on plastic.

All down to the preparation before painting. Needs effort!
