Hi, I am planning to sail to southern Norway, Sweden and later Denmark during the Summer. Can anyone help me with Garmin Blue Charts (the original and now out of date Blue Charts) for the above areas or if not the paper charts. I cannot afford to replace my Garmin 172C Chhartplotter and am hoping someone might have old software 'kicking around'. Thanks

Hello ? Welcome to the forums.

Where are you based, if you are on the south coast, perhaps you could pop in a see me in Gosport as I have the SD cards covering the whole of the Baltic Sea, Sweden and Denmark and all the Norway west coast as far north as 81°N which covers all the Vopnafjarourgrunn in the Barents Sea. My phone number in Bio.

Norway

Hi David, Unfortunately I am in East Yorks. I am a just a bit confused with these Garmin charts. The ones i need are for a Garmin 172C chartplotter and are similar to a USB pen type connector. What is the technical term for this type? Also what do they cost for the area covering S Norway (tannaker to Oslo Fjord) and probably Denmark down to Kiel. thanks
p.s I thought they were obsolete?
