Northern Boat Show

Their website isn't very inspiring.

The UK already has 2 boat shows and that's at least one too many. The only people to make money (without a shred of evidence, I should add) are the venue and, of course, the food and drink concessions. The industry whinges that the costs are excessive and that no one buys. The punters whinge that the wrong people are exhibiting or that they will not allow me on board their poxy boats because of my attire (plus, I'm not wearing a rolex, of course).

That said, it's only a quick dash west along the M62 for me so I would happily go.

I know which one I would cancel!

Northern Boat Show total exhibiting costs are about the same as SBS but only three days instead of ten.
We are interested but will wait to see which others commit.

Its a shame that they have to hold it at the same time as a River Festival, sounds logical until you arrive and try and find a place to park.
