North Wales MOB sit up .....

I take it you were in the rib that we came and "parked" by. You should have come across and introduced yourself.

Is your bio up to date, or are you now in North Wales.

The picture shows me tripping over the fender :( I knew I should have left it over the side :)

Taz

Varnish is Ok but she is in need of some paintwork this winter. The Caledonian isnt forgiving when you pass through the locks :) Would you like to come and give a hand :)

I was pulling yer leg..........someone mentioned 50 litres in diesel and 5000 litres of varnish.......or something like that;):D

Yep that was us in the rib, and the bio is still correct we're still dodging sandbanks on the east coast!
We were up in your part of the world for a weeks holiday as it's one of the few places in the UK I've not been to on a boat.
Started the week of with a bit of a harsh introduction to the Conwy river recovering this jet ski rider in a pretty lumpy swell:

Yep I was that rib that was "just passing". In actual fact we'd were waiting to launch when the fella fell off his PWC and couldn't get back on. We did an emergency launch and I went off to pull him out of the water.
Had a couple of runs through the swellies and then got told off for speeding past Port Dinorwic.
We had a lovely afternoon at anchor on Thursday in Pilots cove:

It was a shame the weather wasn't a little kinder, but we had a great time and will be back some time....

It was a water flea...... you should have left it :) No ! only a joke, well done on the resue it was a good job you were there.

As Searush has said, you should have let the North Wales Mob know you were coming......contary to what is said, we dont bite....... well Kwackers might but the rest of us are Ok. :)

Stock your funbox next time cos it'll get double usage :)

Tom

PS The guy at PD is always around at weekends to stop the ribs, water fleas and Mobos speeding through there. Of course the raggies wont get pulled :) Dont know if he actually has any way of enforcing the speed limit though. I have never heard of anybody being fined for speeding !

We are at a horsey show at Bridgewater Riding Club Comberbach, Northwich on the Saturday, but I will do my best to get there Sunday.
Just hope the weather holds up good for it the middle of the river in Conway can be a bit dismal if it's wet.:D
