I shall be there, I understand that most on here wont!

Anyhow you have my number or PM me as I am rushing out the door but would be good to meet up with the North Wales crowd at some point!

Cheers

I have friends up for this weekend, hoping for two days of full on boating.

Not sure we want to spent £28 on looking at a some tat stands and two of Dickies boats.

I hope you get to see some forumites this weekend and Kwaka will always buy you a drink, if you give him the money.

See. last year I used a crafty ploy to get some peeps to sign up fer a YBW subscription.
Using my canny honed salesmaship as an ex used car salesperson!

Adjustin me newly aquired boaty hat (nicked of the Boatshed Stand) I offered the 'customer' a deal of a Lifetime.

'Well' says I
'Here is the script
Subscribe to the Special Boat Show offer
Or buy me beer till I fall over'

Result?
Two more happy YBW readers:D

See ya sometime tomorrow for a bit.

Oh!
Just had an updated weather forecast
Yippee:D

October is predicted to be dry an sunny!:)

May, June are usually better (ie drier) months and most of the rain tends to fall inland (esp over Snowdon). But yes it can be a bit damp. Tom Jones knew, hence "The Green, Green Grass of Home". :D

Brollies aren't much help either as the wind will destroy it or fly you home.

She has cockpit drains & is designed to sit in the rain so shouldn't be a problem - unless there is a big freeze up & the drains split! And even then she will only be sunk at high water!:D

I left the centre bit off to reduce the amount of seagull poo I have to clean off next time I get to her.

I am currently considering a cover for my cover  ie a sacrificial old flysheet to protect the canvas from the seagull poop.
