The river was massive this afternoon. Never seen such a strong flow. Some yachts were heeling against the wind because of the currents. Others couldn't get either on or off as their boat was sucked away from the pontoon. And I got another parking fine. That's a 50-50 hit rate. Blew my stack. How am I supposed to get to the boat and back within an hour? Threw a wobbly I did, not that it made much difference to the fine, but at least I can now get free parking for the winter season.

I have 3 and a council pass but, when they close the hard for winter that leaves 3 bays. A word with the HM though has reopened the hard for use. Well more than a word, I was spitting feathers.
