Non yottie branded antifouling primer?

Is there a decent antifouling primer to use on bare epoxy that isn’t a marine branded product? Our local emporium of boat bits wants. £27 for a small tin of Primacon which gets a poor review. That seems ann outrageous price to me.

Hammerite make a Metalic primer and a few of the yottie brands say they are Metalic primers also..

No thing underwater is cheap unfortunately. This is good stuff: Teamac Metaclor Antifouling Primer 2.5L in Grey. Order from local Paintshed.

Sorry but the Jotun is not "marine2 - although used for that purpose and is nearly half the price of Primocon.

On a more general note if you need a product that is compatible with your substrate and overcoat then choose on that basis, not buy something intended for another application because it is "cheap". and suitab

I second Tranona's recommendation for Jotun Vynaguard. You can spend more money on a worse primer at Screwfix.

SML, as suggested by Tranona, are good folks to deal with, even if they are marine.
