Hi I am trying to find a mug that I saw advertised in yachting press years ago.It is insulated, wide base with screw lid so it didn't spill when in bag etc..The ones today seem to have a a slide drinking hole and consequently leak.Anyone know of something like
Cheers

I have tried many and this is the best - Contigo stainless steel travel mug.

It will fall over when heeled so I just leave it on it's side or put in a cup holder. Keeps drinks hot and never ever, ever, leaks.

Not cheap but is the best

+1 on the Contigo. The only one I've had that can roll around in the cockpit or bag without leaking and keeps the drink hot for hours.

We have 4 onboard, made by Alladin. They hold a pint, have a non spill cap, are narrow at the top, wide at the bottom which has a a non slip patch and are insulated. We also use them as mobile bottle holders while under way.

They are ideal, hold food like stews and hearty soups and have only one slight disadvantage-they are a little thick at the rim.

They were about a fiver each, but they must be ten years old now.
