I didnt know posts about sailing were allowed here.Unfortunately work ruins lots of my weekends but managed a daysail to Newport(Gwent) sailing club on Monday.

Cracking broad reach all the way one tuck in the main. Warm welcome and cuppa in clubhouse with some club members. Cooked tea on board for my son and I then took advantage of a bright sunny evening to get back about 2100 in time for a quick pint then we slept on board.

PS to any NUSC members we would have liked to stay longer but with the gloomy forecast a bit of evening sunshine dragged us away.
