I would like to start a thread where everyone didn't display all their ghastly and bonkers religious prejudices. It could be about anything really... the POW's wedding, the election, a girls only meet, Weekend Julie... sod it, I'll even include sailing. So, I spent the weekend sailing on the Blackwater, which was nice. But Friday wasn't much cop. It was foggy. How was it for you?

Re: I\'m just a pig

Bit like the priest and the rabbi whiling away a long train journey with a game of truth or dare.

Anyway, to cut a long story short, the priest admits to making love to a woman and the rabbi admits to having a bacon sandwich.

An uncomfortable silence ensues until the rabbi looks up and says " Beats bacon sandwiches, doesn't it?"

Re: I\'m just a pig

Reminds me how I got into a spot of bother in the office some years ago.

I asked one of the young secretaries (who had great physical attributes but not a lot of brains) if she knew the difference between a beef sandwich and a blow job. When she said No, I asked if she fancied lunch tomorrow.

Unfortunately she mentioned it to the guvnor's secretary and I was summoned to apologise - no hard feelings remained though!

Friday?

This should please you.
I was rubbing down the old anti foul and repairing my cockpit drains.
Wasn't really much fun though.

I went over to Yarmouth on sunday, lovely and sunny, and came back yesterday. Yarmouth was fairly quiet, possibly due to people watching the pope being dead on the telly, or the New Layabout govt taxing everything too much, or more likely cos it was sunday...

Little Matt, Big Ocean.

For a man about to cover 430 miles in the open sea while worried about the weather in the bay of Biscay, you should not tempt providence. Newly dead Popes probably have a lot of juice in the celestial heirarchy, and a storm this way or that is probably a mere flick of the wrist away.

Re: Not taking any chances

Ah well, I'm going to be fine in that regard, as i will throw some wine over board as a thankyou to neptune, whilst weepingh a bit, and er probably empty the black water tanks as well. PLUS i will be giving off little wisps of smoke all the time, which is very Popey (popish? popular?) indeed.

Re: they\'re a bit slow today...

and yes, of course i was referring to the bits of smoke from t'engine, and pope-choosing. I hope the next one will be Irish, with decent jokes, cos that last one was a bit serious really...

Now that would be something, a pope who appears on his balcony with a new joke each time.

Non Popey

Wosser matter with you? Can't you read? Non. And that bloke at the Folley is obsessed with 69, not 77. 69 is obviously French code for something. 77 is... well, a bit Weekend Julie, nod nod wink wink. Try to pay attention
