No wind this easter

I am some others are sailing to France and the Channel islands over the easter weekend to finish my competent crew, it will be my first Channel crossing and I have just noticed the weather seems to be short of wind, does any one know if this is the case.

Certainly looks like it, the 5 day forecast for Lymington has a gale force 1 forecast. Personally, I'm as happy as larry as I'm out on the fishing boat but I'd guess that a few raggie types might be a bit upset...

Yes we are looking at southerly 1mph zephyrs in the Solent on the evening of Thursday 5/4. Skip will concentrate on other aspects of CC than storm tactics. Still it makes passage planning easier!!
