Hi all,
Quick backstory, engine started then cut out, I burnt the starter motor whilst attempting to restart. Have replaced the starter motor and turns over fine.
I've started with the basics, spark fuel and air.
Ive pulled the plugs and tested against ground and am getting no spark.
I tested the cable to the ignition coil, I WAS getting 12v, cleaned the dizzy etc 12v WAS coming out of the coil through the bottom connectors. Just before I decided I'd need a new dizzy I tested the quick clip HT lead (the one that goes from the ignition coil to the top of the dizzy ) nothing. I tested the feed into the ignition coil again and I'm getting no reading. I assume it's a bad connection somewhere. I've traced the line and it looks like it goes straight into the large wiring harness connector so can't see where a bad connection would be.
I've taken off and bypassed the kill switch.
Anyone any thoughts?
