No Regrets Tidal Terrorism!

Agree with Apollo (for once /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif!)
If you can wait until 24th you can travel down with the club to Limehouse and then travel back up on your own, that way you will know what to expect.
I'd recommend attending the Spring Cruise briefing on 9th May (8pm) where you can get some valuable advice.

I'll forward you our cruising pack once i've finished it!

Jeepers steady on! Have you heard I am judging the boathandling or something?

Well I have entered it a few times in the past, sounds like it is time for you to enter yourself?

Whats the matter, are ya chickun? /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

I shall content myself with being an observer on this occasion. I understand No_Regrets is up for it and I am sure there will be plenty of opportunity for me to observe how it should, or should not, be done.

My main dilemma is what attire I should prepare for such an auspicious occasion - the light burgundy jacket with gold satin lining....or perhaps the mid blue with white silk interior? Then again the full Merchant Navy Reefer with stripes and buttons would be a cut above, dontcha think? Unfortunately it would be ok in the length but woefully inadequate in girth /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Sad to say there will be a lot of Rear Admirals around Sunday evening for the dance.....

Saturday night is a lot more relaxed.

Are you still planning on going up there Friday?

We are planning to do an evening run up Friday after work now that its only an hour or so for us.

Enough already..........

P.S.
1. Whats all this Flishy Flashy lightupboaty bit about then? Will I stand a chance if I bring my flashing blue light and siren? /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

2. I was going to leave my organ at home but I've just realised it's quite attached to me....... /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

Thats "Bankside Lighting" to enable the inebriated to find their way back to their boats after the bash in the tent. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif
Some have been known to take a midnight dip even!! /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

A decade or so ago my old dog (called DOG) was making his way back from the marquee on his own. Along the line there was a particularly well lighted Ocean 37. He climbed aboard and when the owners got up next morning there he was happily asleep.
DOG was well known for going walkies alone and visiting boats where he was sure of getting tidbits.
Another dog I had would go up to Cleeve Lock and stay there until he could hitch a ride home with someone he knew or the Lockie asked someone to drop him back.

The dates are now set!

We shall be departing Bray on 1st June, and be returning between five and six days later.

That gives us a bit more time to make an impact on London town... /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
