thanks for your reply and re-assurance. most interesting, but I'm not wholy convinced in 2 areas.
it seems to me that with increasing marina - isation, the commercial and leisure fleets are being seperated and therefore installing two tanks would now be less of an issue. particularly given that many oil companies will apparently deliver if your tanks are 100 galls or more(so I'm told)
i dont for one minute believe that the uk govt would reduce the level of its fuel duty to match europe. they didnt move an inch really when the fuel protests occurred, so how far will they move for "rich" yotties? and with the chancellor with an enormous black hole to fill. no - you'll see every lobster pot clearly marked and lit before that happens! /forums/images/icons/laugh.gif
anyway. time will tell, but i think i will put my plan to buy a stinkie on hold for the moment. no way can they tax the wind!
