What’s going on? Has the world gone Mad.? No it’s just Great Yarmouth Port Authority. It wishes to restrict access to a National Park i.e. the Norfolk Boards by changing the opening times of the Haven Bridge or not to bother opening at all
If the secretary of state for transport accepts these amendments it will harm tourism and marine industries and the Boards will lose income from yachts no longer able to progress to sea when their owners wish.
Check out NorfolkAfloat issue 8.
What do you think about this?

Got my copy of Norfolk afloat at the Lowestoft Boatshow and was pretty blinkin' annoyed when I read it. Fits well with the Broads Authority's apparant antipathy toward motor boaters though. A good illustration of public bodies working in partnership to promote a one-sided view of what the Broads National Park should be about and to damage the local economy.

Moored a couple of boats behind you at Oulton Broad this weekend - what did you think of the show? (assuming you went)
