Hi, I have normal domestic power when charger is on turn charger off or unplug mains and domestic power is dead. all batteries fully charged and battery switches on and checked that they are working, does anyody have any ideas, I have no wiring diagram for the boat. The boat is a Sealine 365 1990. Thanks.

OK is this the three battery system ? and yellow battery charger ?

If you want to give me a bell on 01326 376938 I will go through the charge system, and power system with you.

There are a number of things we need to know, the main one is what the display shows in the cabin, this will show if the batteries are dead, or what voltage there is.

Diagrams for the three battery charge systems are at.

But the first thing we need to know is which system and if the original mains charger is still in place.

I beg your pardon Graham, its the boat that needs sorting first then you can have a poke around. Your valeters seemed to be working hard today the boats looking good. Thanks for the offer of a poke thing but the boat is in Weymouth at the mo waiting to come back, see you soon. Brian /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

had exactly same prob 4yrs ago......turned out to be the battery master switch had corroded in side. replaced with one from hallfords.....prob over /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif .......small tip.. squirt lots of wd40 where the red key goes in before fitting and leave to drain for a few hours. hope this helps. ps. my switchs "worked" but the contacts were rotten inside.
