Needed another metre of water or chop off the keel.
Valiant efforts by local HM's Thank you given the conditions.

Regroup for plan B Wonder how she will settle?

Ouch.

Find a pro and gear up for sufficient water in 6 tides time.

Oh Gosh, I hope so much that it 'comes good' for you. If it's any consolation, the picture with the dog and the boat, well, it's wonderful.
Fingers crossed.

I hope she survives without significant damage. They are solid boats.

Your pictures are amazing and it reminds why I haven't tried the straits yet.

I can't claim to be a photographer . Thanks to Philiz of this parish. Liz has an eye for a take.
You should try the Straits. They really are not a problem. I have an aerial shot from a micropilot to share later.

The guard dog looks very fierce 👍
The security guard volunteer took no prisoners. 2 am two hooded "late night walkers" were asked to walk away.

But not quite so politely.

Thanks Tom and all the others from the RWYC, Coastguard, Menai Bridge Fire Station. RNLI, Friends and Family, Tysilio Church Vicar and lots of complete strangers. An incredible team effort. No lives lost.
Will follow up with outcome after meeting Insurance appointed surveyor next week.

Sorry about Facebook link for the Videos I don't have time to find a work around the forums technical restrictions.

Good news she was recovered without too much damage.

I’m hoping no one makes comments along the lines of ‘Don’t worry, it’ll buff out’.

Is the internal furniture all ok. Bulkheads all still tabbed in ok?

Jury out on damage.

I have done my best to get her rinsed out with fresh water and dry.

Two glorious days with strong winds and bright blue skies all hatches open have been a bonus.

She isn't an MFI suppository construction boat.

Meeting Surveyor Monday.

I am sure a compound and polish will be required.

Helped a friend launch from same yard today and offered to take him the scenic route round the famous fish trap house island.
He declined!

Apparently a retired LB that used to be moored close to Britannia Bridge did the double double.
Came right through both bridges on flood and back on ebb ending up being antifouled on Traeth Gwyllt near Caernarfon after the owner was woken by a bump.

I wasn’t intending to cast any aspersions on your boats construction. Sometimes when boats have arrived suffered the misfortune that yours has, the hull and topsides flex just slightly more than normal and internal joinery gets stretched a little and bulkheads delaminate slightly from where they were tabbed into the hull. I was enquiring after things not casting aspersions.
