I plan to wire my GPS to my windspeed to give me a true wind reading. What is confusing me is the difference between NMEA out and in.

The GPS has NMEA out and NMEA in, ditto the windspeed.

Do I wire GPS OUT to windspeed IN and GPS IN to windspeed OUT or vice versa? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

As usual, thanks in advance.

Thanks Ian, that seems the logical way but I really don't like that smell of burning wire so I thought I'd check.

You cant burn anything with NMEA, all of the outputs should have quite a high impedence. So dont be worried, just use logic and that should see you through. (unless the kit is crap - but thats another argument)
