nmea channel

Just bought a second rl70 to use as a repeater. Power cable supplied has nmea wires for 2 channels in. orange and yellow for channel 1 and blue and green for channel 2. Am connecting hsb and seatalk so firstly do I need to connect the nmea and secondly if so as no problem to link in, which channel should I use.

If the sentances you require are on the Seatalk bus i.e. the other instruments and GPS reciever then there is no need to connect NMEA 0183 in.
