I have a Navman 100 Log and separate 100 Depth and a 100 repeater for down below. I have just bought a Navman 5600 colour plotter and it won't talk to the repeater. it is not actually essential but it would be nice if it did.

Also I cannot get my log to talk to the plotter and show awter speed, it does show though water temp ( really useful ). Having spent all of Saturday trying to sort it out am now at the end of my patience.

Any ideas?

It may sound obvious but if you have not used a standard wiring harness, one instrument has to be connected as NMEA OUT and the receiving instrument as NMEA IN.......

For advice from Navman, go to http://www.navman.com/ to look at their site, and to ask them a question, send it to [email}support@navman.com[/email].

I have contacted them in the past, and they have been extremely helpful.

I've got Navman instruments and have them all [wind, log, and depth] talking to the GPS.
The wind instrument is also connected by NMEA to the log, to get true and apparent wind speed and direction.
The only use of the depth, connected to the GPS, is that it displays depth on the GPS (Philips Mk6) at the chart-table.

Good luck with your connection problem. I am sure Navman in Kiwi, or whoever you do contact, will be of help.
