If you have onboard wifi (ie with a wifi router on board) you can use Navmonpc to transmit its data to remote clients as shown below on my main laptop - the data being sent from an old Dell notebook in the wheelhouse.
Its quick and easy to get working and means you can use any notebook etc that is running navmon as a wireless nmea repeater for example to keep an eye on heading, xte etc when down below having a cuppa.
