Just about any family car will tow 750kg. You don't need a 4WD either. Avoid dunking it in sea water as this can corrode wheel bearings and brakes.

Yes he does. Need a 4wd drive, that is. Read op's posts - he is recovering in places where his car will (and has) got stuck. It's the terrain not the load that's the problem.

Same problem with all modern car diesel engines, they all have particle filter.

The DPF light on my 2009 X-Trail came on half-way through last year after about 70,000 miles. The local main Nissan dealer forced a regeneration of the filter for which they charged £95.00. It has been fine since.
