Hi, I am thinking of selling a Nimbus which is based in the Solent. Can any one recommend a good brokerage to go through.
Many thanks

Chris Harridge & Steve Lane @ Offshore Powerboats in Lymington. They are the UK dealers for Nimbus & Storebro and are two of the most professional guys you will come across in the marine world. I have used them a couple of times to buy and sell and would have no hesitation in recommending them.

Good Luck

ps which model are you selling ?

Nimbus Nova 42

Hi All,

Thanks for the info. The model I am selling is a Nova 42. Offshore Powerboats are going to come and look at it next week.

I'd also recommend (very highly), Parkstone Bay Yachts in Poole.

They have no allegience to the brand or any other competing brand and so have no reason to upsell to new or steer to a different boat.

I would recommend them though.... 'cos it's me.

Happy to help. I'll also offer very good storage and display facilities ashore should you wish to go that route.

If you want to advertise her directly to the Poole Harbour brigade and Sandbanks crowd then you could do a lot worse as our shore side display area is very very popular.
In addition, a large proportion of our mid to larger cruisers are heading in to Europe quicker than we can replace the listings so yours would be very welcome.

We are part of the Parkstone Bay Group and can be found at http://www.parkstonebay.com
Or you can PM me here for more information.

Whoever you choose, best of luck with the sale. If she is clean, tidy, priced fairly and advertised well she will sell swiftly. Make sure you have all relevent title docs available and as much of the boats history as possible too.

Tom
