Nimbus 320 purchase completed

Hi,

Just wanted to share with you my excitement on the completion of my purchase of a Nimbus 320 yesterday, and I'm really looking forward to it being transported from the Thames to the Solent on Friday, ready for my first voyage this weekend........especially as the weather looks great!!

As I've been a raggie for the past 6 years, I've finally taken the huge step to move into the 'dark side' and, as this will be my first foray into the world of motorboats, I've got some trepidation, mixed with great excitement.........especially as I'll have to find out how that propeller thingy at the bow, and that thingy that heats the cabin works.......what luxuries!!

Anyway, just to warn you in advance, if you see a Nimbus 320 out on the Solent this weekend, with the helmsman having a HUGE grin.........it's me!!!

Congratulations, great coice of boat and welcome to the dark side. You will find the force is strong here and your desire for gizmos and extra toys aboard will increase. Enjoy your maiden voyage and let us all know how you get on. Just remember the harbour speed limits now you can exceed 6kn :D Enjoy.

As somebody just about to complete the purchase of his next mobo, I know exactly what your feelings are :)

Nice Boat, I have to say they were on my list in the UK for several years, even got close to buying one off EBY before I headed for sunnier waters. It will keep you safe and warm in the UK! Enjoy and post some pics please. Which Engine (s) did you get?

Hi Paul,

It's got a single Volvo D4 210 hp, which, hopefully, won't gobble up too much of my hard earned at the fuel berth!

I'll try to upload some photos soon, as long as someone can tell me how to do so?

Had an old 27 for 11 years
Good 'Marque' Nimbus
Would probably go Scandinavian again, there is just summatt about them
