Hi
I am about to sell a 33 year old Nimbus 26ft Motor Boat but am uncertain as to it's value.
I paid £12,500 for it 3 years ago and have spent a lot on it.
It needs mainly cosmetic work but does need a new bathing platform support.
The cylinder head gasket has been replaced and the Volvo Penta engine (Diesel) runs well.
Can anyone give me advice on what it is likely to be worth?

Cheers
John

Sounds cheapish even for an old Nimbus, you should at least get your money back.

Your Nimbus is what was known as the 2600
Model change in 1982 to the Nimbus 26
Plus the 27.
Depending on condition and the way 'things' are at the Mo
She should make £10.000 at least.
A bit limited for offshore work with a small engine so thats kinda narrowing your market
Still, even at Her age a good estuary and inland/sheltered waters boat.

Can only see 3 for sale in the UK (inc yours!) so thats good news, still a lot of use left in the Old Nimby's!
