Nick is now within 100nm of Coffs Harbour where he plans his first landing and I guess he could then make Melbourne by the end of the month. Check his blog on Big Oceans.

It's great to see that he's made it. It sounds like it's been quite an eventful trip. I thought that his decision to get from the Atlantic to the Pacific with road transport via the USA was an interesting one.

The only problem now is that I don't have a big Contessa 26 sailing adventure to follow (unless someone knows of another one going on).
