Nicholson 35 Questions

Have any Nicholson 35 owners replaced the two large portlights on the port and starboard side of the main saloon with portholes to improve ventilation? Is such a surgery even possible or recommended?

Also, how many fingers/toes do you have left after working on the Perkins they shoehorned in there?
