i have just bought one of these boats with a fin keel,does anyone know anything about these boats ,how capable they are or anything i should look out for
what speed will she do with a single cilinder volvo

Nicholson have a reputation for making seaworthy boats

my advice is post this on the scuttlebutt and you will be inundated with responses. these will all be opinions based on personal preference but there is loads of good knowledge there.

you could always put her in the water and find out
fair winds

Maybe, just once, someone will call me sir without adding, you're making a scene.

I have had a Nic 30 for 3 years. Great boat and quick with a bit of breeze. Mine's been a bit of restoration project on the interior. If you need any advice or have got any suggestions get in touch. Speed with the Volvo will be about 5knts. I've re engined mine with a Yanmar 1GM10
