Excuse me sir, is that your new name in the witness protection programme!
Blake's do a Pale Cream which I think comes out a little yellow (hides certain stains down the sides!) or Pearl White which is what I use inside. I wouldn't call it 'warm' though.
Just think how nice, she'll look in white! with your lovely brightwork blinding AWB owners. If I remember correctly International now have 3 or 4 varieties of white and some are a tad yellowish. Worth looking at. I don't have an International book at home.
Epiphanes is a good paint company, and I was very happy with the stuff, right up to the point where some well intentioned soul ( or perhaps less well intentioned) asked why I had chosen magnolia.
I don't think it looks like magnolia at all. (it's Epiphanes number 2). Never crossed my mind beforehand, can't get it out of my mind now. Darn the so and so. Now I am being told I am colour blind, worse part is that they are probably right to some extent.
The insides of the hull in the cockpit are a Blakes Warm Cream and apparently the cabin is Epiphanes "Magnolia". I went for the Epiphanes because the Blakes was a bit too warm for any one but me.
The whole damn thing is going to be Admiralty Blue and Grey from now on. I know where I stand with those colours.
So I have a lot of sympathy for Chinita's question, what is a nice warm cream for a wooden boat.
