What I thought when I watched the vid, and I was actually doing that when I went passed. It does look a lot faster, but I can assure you I was doing the correct speed. I was wondering who might make a comment! Anyway, you stick to Pompey Harbour!
What was interesting was that when I played the video back it looked as if I was really moving but in reality it was much slower. I was playing with new GoPro HD 2 and had it mounted on the side of the console. Maybe the lower aspect that gives greater impression of speed.

You had it mounted low down, that will always give an impression of going faster, the lens distortion on the Go Pro II under movement is bad, see what it does to the horizon when you are bobbing up & down. More importantly is it set up for 25fps (PAl) or is it 29.97 which is the American frame rate? If so when you play it back on UK PAL equipment it will drop 1 frame in 7 which will make it jump & therefore look speeded up.

Your expression "Its nice out" reminds me of the Morcambe & Wise joke where Ernie says to Eric. "Its nice out" and Ernie replies " Yes I think I'll leave it out". Sorry.
