Nice mobo spotted entering the Hamble / spot the boat

Interesting about being shipped to Palma, she is currently on the market with Sunseeker Torquay for £895,000. They also own another charter boat - Triple 7 also in Torquay.

Post #2........... i believe this maybe a classic "Lakesailor" lol. :encouragement: ;)

Saw this today, looked v special

Call me old-fashioned, but I have to say that IMHO this new 'style' of mobo is horribly inelegant and at times plain ugly. A fashion-fad? As Oscar Wilde said, 'Nothing goes out of fashion faster than fashion.'

No offense to the owner/builder but she looks ugly IMO.
Well, that's firmly in the "each to their own" field, of course. And it's not my cuppa either, to be honest.
But having seen a few of the masterpieces that Mazzari (the guy I mentioned before) built during his career, I could safely bet that the build quality of that vessel is above anything we have ever seen here in the forum. And as we all know, we have seen some stunning boats indeed!

The only reason i knew what that boat was, was because i have seen it and thought "wow". It's a little different to other boats that size and her style just stood out enough for me to find out her make and more about her. As said previously i love it, perfect UK boat IMHO. She is quite something in the flesh. Insane speeds too 40kts! After MapisM enlightened on the designers sad demise i feel i need to know more about Mazzari and his other designs...... I feel the boating world has been truly robbed of a great designer.

Indeed. But I can't help with your wish to know more, I'm afraid.
You might try searching for Piero Mazzari/Navalia/Picchiotti, but most of his clients were true VIPs (I mean, not football players and the likes), not so keen on airing their toys on the web.
Therefore, I wouldn't hold my breath for what can be found just googling around...

I looked last night and you are right, i didn't really find anything at all. I'll try again with with your search ideas.

I thought to look around for one example I had in mind of what Picchiotti used to build when Mazzari was in charge of the yard, i.e. Valentino yacht, and found this Mail online article.
If you scroll down, you'll find the thing. Mind, she was built in the 80s....

PS: direct link to the pic, for convenience.

You look at this and it's clear the guy was way before his time. The detail to the upper decks is seen right now on new super yachts and this is from the 80's.

its an odd design in many ways when you see it in the flesh, it looks a style/design of smaller boat altogether imo, but in the flesh is certainly is not small... a bit weird to explain.

a bit like this Transgressor... not your ordinary day boat.... guess the size;
