Consider yourself kicked /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Know exactly how you feel - motivation at an all time low.
Just been informed by N1 (personnel to you civvies) that they've put a limit on the amount of leave/time in lieu, etc... we're allowed to carry over to 2007.

As a result I'll be off from Dec 15th till jan 8th.
Suggestions for a winter cruise anyone?

Jimi,

You might find this interesting. It is the trace from our barograph for the last few days. I am sorry if it is not too clear but if you enlarge the image, you should be able to see the graph. Note the dramatic rise in pressure yesterday. This what caused the big waves at your wavebuoy. We are at 60deg 32N, 00deg54W but it is the same weather system.
And yes, I am bored as well.

Re: dranatic rise in pressure ...

Maybe I'm an anorak but I like looking at the bouy readings and tying it into forecasts .. bit like looking out the window really!

Re: dranatic rise in pressure ...

anorak .. ?? cringe, i was doing the same on 62103 (channel lightship) with new source of grib files whilst you were looking at 62081 ... grib files not bad, so far ....
