My proposed weeks holiday, in view of a good forecast for next week.

Arrive Ipswich sometime Saturday.
Footie in the big city Sunday afternoon from Ipswich by train.
Monday pottering around Ipswich.
Tuesday looks to be not too bad to go to Bradwell.....
Thursday nip round to Burnham to prepare for some raggie stuff on the good ship Full Circle.
There will then, hopefully, be a good window to get home Monday/Tuesday after the Bank holiday.

If anyones about pop along and say hello....one of the fridges will have some beer in.... /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

We're both at work this weekend, but looking forward to a couple of weeks off starting next. Already booked the fine weather /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Ah yes I remember that trip back from the Medway, I'll show you the results of the damage that occured when we got back to Shotley.

Will be at the boat tonight, may pop down to Ipswich Haven tomorrow. What time are you expecting to arrive?

Where's this 'good forecast for next week' then? I just looked at the weather charts up to Tuesday and it doesn't look at all good to me!
We are planning a trip up to the Blackwater (from the Swale) but having second thoughts now, maybe we'll stay this side and closer to home after all.

Thought that you were leaving yesterday - I wonder why you postponed /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

The forecasts on Windguru (for Mersea) and XCweather are not bad - not warm but not too wet and moderate winds. Anyway I'm off to Bradwell to refit my genoa after some alterations - I expect that means that the light winds on the Thames will be a typhoon on the Blackwater /forums/images/graemlins/ooo.gif

Always planned to leave today, Roger, neaped in our creek until today.
Neaped again by next weekend so must get back, hence caution. Nasty low winding up for Tues/Weds with no hint yet of what follows.
I think we will stick in the Medway today and see what happens. Still planning to be over your way last weekend in August. Anyway, I'm off now!

Doug will catch up with you tomorrow afternoon then.

Had an unfortunate coming together with a cat after we had tied up in the lock at Shotley, just after we had waved you off to Lowestoft, damage estimate is in the £,000's. They say things happen in threes.

Have a good trip down, and I hope 'Still Dunno' behaves herself.
