Newtown Creek IOW

My brother is planning to overnight in Newtown this W/E but wants a pub for food. Does anyone know if access is available at all states of tide to the quay in the tender so he can walk to the pub and also what is the name of the pub?

Pub is the New Inn at Shalfleet. Probably need to book. Think quay is useable HW +/- 4 but others may be able to give more accurate times.

The tides may be a little early this weekend for a late evening session at the New Inn (but check) if hoping to use the dinghy to Shalfleet Quay.

However the alternative to landing there is to land at the private jetty on the western shore and walk. It a good step though.

And the end of the private jetty is deep in the mud at the bottom of springs.
