Newhaven Marina boat launch and recovery.

Hi.
Can anyone give advice/tips on slipway launch and recovery at Newhaven please.

I need to launch and recover a 26' GRP cruiser on trailer. Tow vehicle is front wheel drive Renault van, very good on pulling power and good at getting trailer well into water due to its long wheel base, but boat and trailer is at top end of towing limit so steep angle slippery slips not desired.
What is it like at Newhaven please.

Steve, Only slipway is Simpson marine, they do not permit self launch and recovery (all done with their tractors). Slipway has some low tide restrictions so choose your time. Should you need it pressure washing off that can also be done.

My experience is 20 years old. I launched a 23’ Searay at Newhaven. The marina used a tractor to hook onto my trailer for the launch. Great service and worked very well.
