I do it frequently to get of the fuel dock as it's so easy to do single handed. Same type of boat as the demo video (the mighty Twister) above but I learnt it from a friend on his Vertue.

I think it’s safe to say, if it’ll work on a Twister it’ll work on anything.

On a coaster with a rounded stearn the crew rigged up a line from the port side round the stern to a bollard forward of amidships .Thisallowed the coaster to go astern further than a normal spring arrangement
