trailer.....

Hi Guys,

I had a flat on the DL trailer. Put the trailer up on bricks and removed the offending wheel. As it was at home, didn't get round to replacing the tyre fast enough and my wife threw away the wheel and tyre....

Now the markings on the other rusty wheel are 135 / 80 R10 but I think that just refers to the tyres?

They are four Stud wheels..

Now on Ebay there seems to be a pair for £90 quid (Wheels and tyres) but is there a wheel weighting rating I should be looking for and if so, where would anyone advise me to order another pair of wheels and tyres...the lugger and trailer must be between 500 and 700 KG I guess

Might look at trailer parts websites such as Trailertek.com and Autow.com for prices and other details.

You'll need to match the stud diameter and PCD and if they are not just plain bog standard trailer wheels you may have to match the wheel design.

Google will find you explanations of the tyre markings but basically width(in mm) /aspect ratio, speed rating and rim diameter( in inches).

AFAIK a wheel that is suitable for the tyre size will have a suitable load rating.

Lakesailor will be along shortly to tell you all you need to know
