Alcyone, Alcyone, Alcyone this is yacht Snow Petrel. Position is Rattles anchorage, Lundy Island. Anchor snagged in rock. Fancy increasing your experience? /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Now that's a long keel

Now then, I've never dived Lundy, but I'm fitting new engines to me Rib on Monday, so as long as I can get around to North Devon I'll be there. Fuel costs preclude me reaching you from here. I'll bring food and beer - you'll be hungry and thirsty.....The anchor does belong to you, and you have very accurate marks yes? I've heard this before. 'So where exactly did you drop the outboard? 'In the sea'

Seriously, I have moved a one ton danforth, but that wasn't jammed.... It's usually the chain that's the weight when lifting anyway.

That boat is in Barry yacht club? We went down there a few times a couple of weekends ago, but there didn't seem to be anyone about.

Usually someone around on the weekends. I will be there this weekend - if you search me out on the boat I will be happy to show you around the Club.

Regards

Don

Thanks, Don. We're away down West this weekend, but I'd like to have a look around another time (soon) if that's OK.

I never noticed that before /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

At least I've got a few years sailing ahead of me. (And it looks like someone has replaced the new French doors I made with the old ones, in one of the houses on Clifton Hill /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif )
