New toy

Hi all,

Just been given a "Sharp Tiller Mate". Its a substantial bit of kit and comes with an
array of gizmos such as a wind indicator and I assume electronic compass. We have a
more conventional modern tiller pilot that does a pretty good job so my question is
is it worth giving it a go or is it scrap?

I'd at least try it & see how it works, might be good to have as a spare. Or you might prefer using it to the current one, bit like those with their Yeoman plotters...
