Yes they've got them in stock at approx £650 (2020 price) if my memory serves but to be honest I've got the original and don't like it as it used to pool. No doubt you could devise a workaround@ Limecc
Do you know if Reddish marine sell the cover for the boat. I got a very old one that came with it and I want one to go over the lot when it is on the mooring. I can get one made but it will take a while.
I am also wondering if two people could sleep on the frond sun deck under the right cover for a nights wild camping. Could also possible fit a porta pottie in the very large front compartment
DEFINITELY NOTWhat about poor old Bruce are you going to apologise to him![]()
Haha yes. I've got a 2second popup tent and intend to try it for size lol. No room underneath for the potty though. Maybe under the stern seat@ Limecc

I store them indoors and they only come out when her indoors goes outdoors on the boat which isn't very often because of an elderly dog. Although splashproof they can become water logged. You did an excellent job on that decking. Have you not got the cushions however
Here you go:I am wondering what is under the area shown in red and if it is possible to access that area

Add to this his drone and model aircraft collections! BP definitely has attachment issues. You have a great collection of boats there - but if it's not a rude question (and I really don't mean it to be) why so many????

Surely it would be cheaper to run one ( perhaps a bigger / more luxurious one).... Or is there a real method to it??
A Ranieri seems to do same job as the Rib and other small boats you have - and I think I'd prefer to use an s24 to most of them (although that Ranieri looks great).
Genuine question, not being snarky, intreagued......
You cant beat the smell of a 2 strokeThe Reason I have 14 boats is because 15 would be extravagant
In truth I am not a luxury kind of a person I am more of a wild camping sort of a person. I hate posh places with a passion. I would rather sit on a park bench with a Tesco meal deal that be in any posh restaurant even if others were paying. I cant stand the whole pretentious thing.
All the boats I have are very different for various reasons. I have no attachment issues I just hate selling stuff as it is time consuming and I would rather be doing other things. I have a few very simple rules:
1) Never buy anything (excluding your main residence) unless you can buy it outright with money to spare
2) Once the money is spent it is gone
3) There is only one way to waste money and that is not to spend it.
I enjoy boats and like to move forward in the hobby. I never buy expensive and am lucky that I have storage space.
As for the maintenance issues if you stick to 2 strokes there is actually very little to do and many people do what is totally unnecessary. This is often linked to OCD which they seem to want to inflict on others
There you go somewhat of a muddled answer to your question.
The thing that makes me smile the most is that other people get stressed about the amount of stuff we have and want to try and tell us we have got it all wrong. Not saying you have done this at all
Finally we were unable to have Children and therefore have quite a lot of disposable income and you cant take it with you and you only live once.
Finally Life is about much more than money
Not ideal sea conditions yesterday and when I got back I discovered prop damage. Still need to try it without the fin and possibly drop the engine a hole. 600rpm short.Trying it out next week with 17" prop so will let you know.
These engines can be uprated fairly easily:
Tuning a Suzuki DF50 Outboard - Outboard Tune
Suzuki Outboard Remapping - West Wales Tuning

Maybe not, I'm having to trim down to get the prop to grip at speed and that's pointing the bow down. Currently running the AV plate 40mm above keel which was perfect with the previous engine, but this one's ventilating too easily on the same (top) bolt holes.Surely dropping the engine will lower the rpm not raise it?

Finally stopped raining and had less wind so was able to test in better conditions, without the hydrofoil and with addition of one passenger. 33knots/6000rpm still 400 rpm short. I'm not going to lower the engine immediately, may have a blast around the IoW tomorrow and evaluate it some more. Need to get the prop off and hammer the ding out but we are on hol and I stupidly left needed tools at home. Would this damage cost me those 400rpms?
