Welcome aboard Cerne,
There's a vast amount of talent and information on here, so look forward to hearing more from you!

Welcome to the forum. Here's a little newby advice, meant in the most constructive way-

1. Before asking a question that has been asked a hundred times before, do a forum search. Only then ask any supplementary questions that still need to be answered.
2. Don't just reply to a thread that half answers your questions. Some of these threads are ten years old and need to be left in peace. Start a new one.

Otherwise, most of us are more than happy to help.

Welcome.
Just enjoy it and your new life.
It's how most of us start. I did. Bought a little boat without knowing anything. Progressed from there.
Now, well we still liveaboard but we have sailed far from home, and live in e sun as was our dream.
I still look back on the early days with fond memories , and whether I'm stripping down a water pump or changing engine oil, it all started with my first little boat and asking on this forum for advice .

If you are staying \board all year round look at the idea of a full cockpit enclosure...... if the suggestion wont start an argument
