Thanks for the replies.

OK - we'll reserve the 2nd & 3rd and the 16th & 17th.

Does everyone stay the night on anchor or slip in to Titchmarsh marina?

Once the dates are sorted, should we start another thread for the attendee list? (I don't mind doing this and helping out)

Overnight at anchor, on a buoy in the channel or camping is usual. No reason not to retreat to Titchmarsh although late night and beer do mitigate against this

Most anchor off, last year I picked up a vacant mooring a little bit upstream as I never sleep well at anchor.

Don't think I can make it this year - all the dates suggested clash with something or other! Whilst my youngest enjoyed the Saturday he still mentions throwing up passing Clacton Pier on the way back from time to time - Oh the delights of the Wallet!!

Hi Ian,

As Karouise says, most anchor off... and increasingly, most are 'dressing' their boats as well with a series of signal flags...

It would be great if you could pull an attendees list together.... as has been said on many occasions, their is no 'organising commitee'... we just loosely get things sorted one way or another, so everyone just jumps in to get things sorted!...

It looks like tides are pretty good time wise for the 16th/17th... so lets take that as a decision!!!!!!

Crumbs.... lots of replies!! (that'll teach me to go out for a few hours!!) should make for a GREAT weekend!
