New to Forum Hi

Hi Ladies and Gents !!!

My Wife and i are new to the forum and wanted to introduce myself and also in the hope that some of you can help us with information etc...

I grew up with speed boats with my Father on the sea and loved it also had birchwood on the Thames so seen both sides and to be honest loved them both.

We have been looking for a Sports Cruiser now for some time with no luck and as Summer keeps going on im beginning to wonder if we will ever find one.

I see there is not much stock on the market at present probably due to people not going on Holiday and instead maybe buying a boat etc...

We have worked out that we really like PORT SOLENT and would like to keep the boat there which is a good start!
We found there was lots to do for the Children and also well located.
I heard you can rent PRIVATE moorings there from peoples houses but cannot see where i would find this? any help or advise would be greatly appreciated

Boats we are looking at

We really like the layout of the Dorel Monticello or the Dorel Intrigue but there seems to be nothing in the UK at all and if anything comes up its really over priced.

We also like the Sea Ray Sundancers and alike.

We need double bed at the front and double or 2 x singles at the back.

Something with good outside space to entertain.

Open to any suggestions if there are other makes i don't know of...

Also if anyone knows of a similar boat for sale or thinking of selling please let me know as we are ready to go.

Hi and Welcome. Regards moorings, speak with Rob at Marina Life Homes. They're the on-site estate & letting agent and usually have moorings to rent.

Just be aware that a private berth in PS may not get you some of the benefits that a berth rented from MDL would get you, for example, storage ashore over the winter. Also check that you'd be able to access the showers and check for any maintenance charge that the owner might try and pass onto you.

Thank you for the advise, budget is 50k but if could go a little higher for something that blows us away. ty
