New to AntiFouling

I have a 1978 Dufour 12000 ketch parked in Greece. The great day has arrived (just bought it) to polish/antifoul. As new to this game I am already getting conflicting advice. e.g. Polish once/paint twice, don't polish but one coat enough (boat has been out of water most last year) through to paint and get it in the water within 12 hours and finally - paint it and leave it for a month, then launch. I am going to use Micron CSC (as last owner recommended). Anyone with advice on just how much to use/aprox cost/launch immediate and any other info to confuse me further would be greatly appreciated? Very many thanks. A truly informative site. They did not have answer to my question under FAQ's but I have emailed and hope for response soon. Thanks again. PS: Isn't it amazing; you type - International, antifoul, boat, paint etc - but no search engines point to the International boat paint site!
