We have just ordered an MC5 for delivery next April and since our existing annexe is too big we need to buy one 2.85 max to sit on the swim deck.
Dreaming of a Williams 285 but it is pricey!!
Does anyone have any suggestions please?

Hi sammy, we just took delivery of a brig falcon 300hl with a 20hp yamaha and all the gear....around a third of the cost of a w285 and far less expenive to run.

Only had one run out thus far, 150kg of crew and 30mph so pretty happy and the boat has a a fun but grown up feel...does need t tabs however.

LOA around 290 so might be ok for you....very excited to hear your delivery story unfold...we saw a few MC's being comissioned this summer in les sables, they have a great line. Did you go for the blue hull!?

Congrats on the MC5. very, very, cool and stylish boat. I think its straight out of The Adventures of Tintin! By the way, one day you must sail down to visit us in the Marina d'Arechi. We are having a fabulous time here on the Amalfi Coast :cheerful:

Thank you for the idea but currently would prefer an inbord to avoid issues we might have with the passerelle!
