New style Waveline rowlocks breaking

I have now had 2 rowlocks break on my Waveline 280su in the last year. They are the new style black rubber ones. The plastic bit into which tbe metal pin fits has broken. Anyone else had this?

Had one break a few years ago when rowing a bit enthusiastically. Grey plastic so I presume they now count as old style. I've been a bit cautious of putting too much force on the oars ever since.

Maybe worth keeping spares.

When I contacted Waveline they immediately sent out a couple of spare rowlocks so credit to them for that. Maybe I need to ease back on the porridge!

I like porridge, but most think Wheatabix is the one that give the extra oomph, that breaks plastic....
