Some while ago a friend of my dad's had one of these based at Allhallows Yacht Club. Can't remember what he had on the back but it went very well indeed.

Yes it was a Marina16 GT like yours. I think it had either a 65hp or 85hp on the back IIRC. I drooled over that boat many times back in the days when I had a Yarecraft

Clearly you are a man of great taste! There is another forum member who used to have one and did dozens of channel crossings in his, (I'm not quite ready for that).
I think they were originally intended to have a 50HP.
