New season coming advice wanted

Hi - I have a couple of questions regarding putting my boat back in the drink.

Would I be ok if I took out my heaters from the engine bay - I know it is early march or am I jumping the gun - the boat is in Essex which seems to warmer than the rest of the u.k

is there anything I should do before putting the boat back in the water ??? any pre checks etc
