New Sealine F46 spotted in Yarmouth

and unlike 99.9% of FB boats... no windscreen overhang. Makes for simple lines...

How did you manage to send that through time from 1989?

Every Fairline and every Princess and probably most of the others here in 2009 have no flybridge lip over the screen. :D

I was going to say the same as jfm about the sliding transom door. It'll probably take about a week for someone to give it a decent shove expecting it to swing and find it breaks.

I quite liked the general look of the boat but some of the the detailing really doesn't look great: lack of decent cleats, wire guardrail, funny sticky-out bit of anchor housing

I too am not a fan of wire guard rails but i suppose you can't criticise Sealine too hard as most other builders do the same. Sadly however Sealine take the wire all the way to the front, whereas other builders use a s/s tube middle bar at least for the first few stanchions-worth back from the bow

A new (debadged) Sealine F46 turned up in Yarmouth this afternoon - it's MASSIVE!

not as big as the P85 that woz in Oostende a couple of weeks ago with a Duff engine managenent system ( Cat engine emc changed 3 times on the same engine)

Like everyone else, it looks an interesting proposition and I think the jury's out until you get to have a good old crawl over it - hopefully at SIBS. Looks like it should be huge inside, and interesting to see how they've configured the living and sleeping spaces, but like many new Sealine models, I think it will be a design that will eventually grow on people. Having said that, from a personal point of view, I still prefer the more classic designs especially in a flybridge boat. Roll on the new Sqaddy 42 next year!!

Would be interested to see the flybridge layout since the pictures I have seen show a single bucket seat for the driver, with a curved thing in front of the driver and instruments.

Anyway could be good option for the likes of me.

Followed it out of Lymington yesterday, it sure looks different from the back. SWMBO thought it was a Trader, with the square aft profile and the flybridge support pillars. The flybridge seating looks like little wings.

I am looking forward to having a crawl around this - there are certainly some odd looking features - flybridge step configuration; stern mooring gear etc. But looks like quite a few features which tick the right boxes from a living with it perspective.
